About the Facilitator

Gina Kearney is an Advanced Shamanic Practitioner, trained by Sandra Ingerman and listed on shamanicteachers.com.

Her previous training stems from the lineage of the Q’ero Incan people of Peru taught to her by Joan Poolevoorde (The Four Winds). During this multi-year training, she moved through the rites and ceremonies associated with each of the four directions in the Andean medicine tradition and was initiated into this shamanic lineage and given the rites of Mesa Carrier. She practices and teaches on key points of shamanic energy healing and the Medicine Wheel.

About the Shamanic Medicine Wheel

The medicine wheel is a symbolic representation of the natural cycles of life and the interconnectedness of all things. It is a tool used in shamanic practice to help individuals understand their place in the world and connect with the spiritual realm.

The medicine wheel is typically represented as a circle divided into four sections, each corresponding to a direction and an element. These four directions are often associated with different aspects of life, such as the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.

The medicine wheel is used to help individuals understand and navigate their spiritual journey, and to gain insight and healing through connection with the natural world. It can also be used as a tool for meditation and personal growth. By connecting with the medicine wheel, individuals can gain a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them, and access spiritual guidance and healing.

In the Andean Medicine Wheel, we enter in the South, then move to the West, North and East. Along with the shared teachings you'll engage in shamanic journeys to the sound of the sacred drum.

Journeying is a practiced art of traveling to the invisible worlds beyond ordinary reality to connect, learn and receive information. Each journey is an opportunity to gain direct insight and connect deeply with the animate, living world within and around us.
